Meet Dreamboat – Adopted
This 5-year-old 51lb Brickhouse is brimming with personality and happiness. His foster mom says she has yet to see him meet anyone, either human or dog, that he doesn’t like. He was found as a stray in a major Bay Area city. He was not microchipped and did not have any identification on him.
He was named Dreamboat by the shelter staff who quickly realized what a special dog they had in their care. After being neutered and passing all of his behavioral evaluations, he was transferred to our rescue. Our vet recommended surgical correction of his bilateral entropion and tight nares. That has now been done and he has his stitches removed in 4 days.
Although not a purebred Bulldog he has the best of our breed. His ears were cropped likely when he was a puppy. He loves to hang out with his foster mom when she is gardening and his dad when he is working in the garage. He knows how to use a dog door, appears to have had good house training, sleeps all night, and his foster mom says she has never heard him bark. He will beg a bit when he hears his food bowl getting filled up. He will make some lucky person a wonderful companion.
