Meet Lucy
My name is Lucy and I am 5 months old. I was taken to a Central Valley shelter because my owners could not pay to have my cherry eyes fixed. I was only there a few days until I got a ride to NorCal Bulldog Rescue. My foster mom says I am petite since I only weighed 14 pounds when brought to the shelter. I am little but mighty. I have been around other dogs here who are very big but I can keep up with all of them.
I have many talents. I play rope tug-o-war with another rescue girl here who is almost twice my size but I still can win. I am very good with chasing and running away with an empty Coke bottle. I know how to use a dog door and am very good with my potty schedule. I love my delicious meals and am a good sleeper. My most favorite thing is to play so I am hoping my new home will have a dog that also likes to play.
Spending time with my foster family is lots of fun especially since my foster dad keeps dog cookies in the garage. When I meet new people I often roll over on my back so they can rub my tummy. I have lots and lots of energy so I will need a home that has the time and energy to help me with basic training and manners and all the other things puppies need to learn. Next week I am getting my cherry eyes fixed and then in a few days, I will be ready to move to my new home. I need a yard so I can have room to play and run around hopefully with my new brother or sister.
