Meet Maury Povich. – Adopted
He’s a 2-year-old neutered male who found his way into rescue from a local shelter. He was a stray. He has been neutered, brought up to date on vaccines, heartworm tested, and microchipped. His overall health seems to be good. He was treated for an ear infection and cherry eye at the shelter. He wasn’t a big fan of some of the medical treatments.
He passed the dog-to-dog evaluation and is very food-motivated. The shelter behaviorist really liked Maury and referred to him as “A silly bowling ball of a dog who warmed up quickly after an initial fearful presentation. He does like to play fetch as well.
Maury has won the hearts of all that he meets. He is a super sweet boy. He is a typical goofball! He is a super silly ball who just wants to play and hang out with his people. Do you have room in your heart for this fabulous boy?
He’s probably best in a home with older kids due to his strength and no sense of personal space. He’s about 50% housetrained, so he will need some work in this area. A patient new owner is needed. He is a happy boy and his tail is always wagging. Do you have space in your heart for Maury?
