Tinkles was found wandering in a SF Peninsula city. She had a dirty collar on and was dragging a chain-type leash. She had infected ears, infected eyes, and an infected tail. She had been chronically neglected. Now after one year in rescue under the loving care of her foster mom and dad, her various medical issues have been treated and she is now ready to move on to her forever new home. She has a very sweet disposition and loves close proximity to her humans. Lady may be shy at first but she is warm and gentle with everyone she meets. She’s not much of an athlete. Her front bowlegs & arthritis limit her daily activities but if it’s mealtime, suddenly she’s an Olympic sprinter! Lady loves to sleep in her bed, on the floor, on the couch, at your feet under the desk, in the sun….you get the idea. She loves the good life.
Due to her narrow ear canals, she will require weekly ear cleaning to keep ear infections from developing. Like many other bulldogs, she also has dry eye and will need daily eye drops in both eyes. Additionally, she is on Rimadyl and Gabapentin to help with her arthritis. All of this maintenance will need to be continued by her forever family. Children over age 10, please.
Lady is potty trained and knows how to use a doggy door. She may have an accident from time to time on her bed but it is not frequent. She would need to be placed with no other dogs or cats and will do best in a family where someone is home a lot of the time.
She will be placed in the Northern California/Northern Nevada area only. She will need a small yard for her potty times and would love a dog door.
If you are looking for a quiet companion to sit by you during morning coffee or someone to binge a Netflix series, she could be your girl.

She is current on vaccines and current meds and eye drops will be sent for her first month.
