Meet Violet – Adopted
I am 5 years old. My foster mom says my name fits me because I am a sweet, delicate 47 lb little flower. I was found as a stray in the Central Valley. I had some skin issues on my tummy area but now I have been on medicine to cure the infection and I am so much better. I will still need to take medicine for a few more weeks but it is easy since “Mom” puts the pills in yummy cheese. I also needed a tuck on my lower eyelids which my doctor did when she spayed me. I will get the stitches out in a few more days and then I will be able to go to my new home.
I have learned to use a dog door. I like hanging out with Petey and Scooter, two other rescues that are my BFFs. I will need a Bulldog experienced owner who will keep my cute wrinkles clean and who will maintain my newly recovered tummy skin with regular bathing. I love people and my way of greeting new people is to roll over on my back. My “mom” says I am very trusting. I am hoping for a new home where I can cuddle with my family and enjoy life and never have to worry about being a “stray” again.
Requirements for adopting this little flower:
- Must live in the Northern California area.
- Small yard or secure patio required.
- Could be placed with a well-socialized neutered dog of equal size. No history with cats.
- Prefer an owner who is home at least part-time during the day.
- Prior Bulldog ownership is a plus.
